PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit verification and to find a bug in its early stage by connecting a disk controller model, generating read and write instructions for data to the disk model and attached data, and controlling the disk controller model according to them. SOLUTION: A test bench 21 performs control so that the disk controller model 241 performs an 'initializing process' and then 'a determining process for ID length and sector length'. Then a write command is issued and its execution result is confirmed to determine whether the inspection is carried on or quit. The encoder/decoder 13 having issued a read command reads in the data of a target sector, and demodulates and writes the data to a register prepared in a buffer manager model 22. Syndrome data for error correction are stored in an ECCD memory 23 and compared with the write data in the buffer manager model 22 to check the operation of the circuit.
