PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing steel skin evaporator is provided to improve heat transfer efficiency by improving structure of a tube contacting a freezing case and a tube bending structure. CONSTITUTION: A steel skin evaporator includes a tube(20) contacting a freezing case(10) and which has a cross section which is flat, nearly D-shaped, so as to thereby expand the contact area of the tube contacting the outer surface of the freezing case. To wind the tube onto the freezing case, the corner of the tube contacting the corner of the freezing case is bent by G-bending method, such that the tube contacts the freezing case with resilience. Since the contact area for heat exchange between the freezing case and the tube is expanded, heat transfer efficiency is enhanced. The tube is made up of iron which costs less than copper, productivity is improved.
