The invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing a restricted amount of powdered material comprising a repository 2 for powdered material 4, and a conduit 3 having a first opening 14 and a second opening 17. The apparatus defines an airway arranged to enable air to be drawn through the powdered material, thereby entraining the powdered material in the airflow and drawing the air and powdered material though the conduit. The air and powdered material is thereafter expelled though the opening 17. Additionally the invention relates to a dip tube for use in a powder dispensing apparatus. The apparatus may be used for delivering medicaments for the treatment of rhinitis or asthma into the nasal cavity. |
