PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at the higher efficiency of a circulation type fluidized bed boiler by improving the performance of a cyclone without increasing an installation area. SOLUTION: The circulation type fluidized bed boiler 1 is provided with an external circulation type fluidized bed furnace 10 combusting fuel fed into the inside of a combustion chamber circulated with fluidized material and a cyclone 20 connected to the external circulation type fluidized bed furnace 10 and mainly separating the gas of combustible gas from the solid of the fluidized material. At least a part of the cyclone introducing path 30 introducing solid-gas two phase flow comprising mainly of the fluidized material and the combustion gas from the external circulation type fluidized bed furnace 10 to the cyclone 20 is arranged along the side wall 13 of the external circulation type fluidized bed furnace 10 in the circulation type fluidized bed boiler 1.
