PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splice box capable of improving work efficiency on a splice plate and preferably capable of realizing further miniaturization. SOLUTION: The splice box 1 is provided with a base plate 2, a splice plate 10 which is fitted into the base plate 2, and a cover plate 3 which is fitted into the base plate 2 or the splice plate 10 so as to cover the splice plate 10 fitted into the base plate 2. A fitting system is adopted for fitting the base plate 2 and the splice plate 10 and for fitting the base plate 2 or the splice plate 10 and the cover plate 3.
