PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulating box having a higher strength. SOLUTION: A pair of grip reinforcing plates 73a, 73b, a pair of L-shaped reinforcing plates 75a, 75b and two pairs of vertical reinforcing plates 77a, 77b, 77c and 77d are installed inside an outer assembly 55 of a thermal insulating box. The grip reinforcing plates are arranged at the upper inside portions of a corresponding side exterior pane 57. The L-shaped reinforcing plates are fixed to a front surface side and a rear surface side at the upper surface of the bottom plate 61. Two pairs of vertical reinforcing plates connect these grip reinforcing plates and L-shaped reinforcing plates. In addition, each of the vertical reinforcing plates is covered by foamed thermal insulating material (not shown) filled between an inner assembly and the outer assembly.
