PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output sequential data at an almost a constant transfer rate, when the sequential data are reproduced from a disk. SOLUTION: This device can improve transfer rate, without lowering the transfer rate in a reproduction mode, because a magnetic disk 13 which rotates at a constant angular velocity and on which data can be recorded and reproduced on one face is used, the sequential data are recorded with one magnetic head 15 in data quantity corresponding to a linear velocity rate due to a disk diameter, while the data are alternately divided to the outer and inner circumferential sides of the disk 13 in time division and the both data are reproduced alternately in time division with one magnetic head 15.
