PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recorder reducing the possibility of generating a sudden and irregular noise for giving an influence to a signal from a CCD, without depending upon a peripheral environmental state of the recorder and having a thinned plastic lens and a photoelectric converter. SOLUTION: The optical recorder comprises at least the plastic lens and the photoelectric converter. In this case, a nearest distance between a surface of the lens of the converter side and a surface of the converter of the lens is 5 mm or less. The permittivity of a plastic material for forming the plastic lens at 100 Hz is 2.0 to 2.8. Maximum thickness of the surface of the lens of the plastic lens is 100μm to 2 mm.
