PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airtight terminal of a closed type compressor capable of making a deformation amount of an end surface 4a of a metal outer ring less even if a pressure in a closed container is high and hardly developing a crack of glass being a weak point. SOLUTION: The airtight terminal of the closed type compressor is constituted by a metal outer ring having a plurality of through holes and a cylindrical part surrounding these through holes; and a terminal pin standingly provided by sealingly attaching a glass to the through holes. In the airtight terminal, the metal outer ring to the closed container and an end surface of the metal outer ring having the through holes is made to a curved shape outwardly projected.
