PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that a toner image transferred from a 2nd intermediate transfer belt onto a transfer material may be fixed without causing irregularities. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a 1st intermediate transfer belt 19, a transfer roller 20a for transferring the toner image on a photoreceptor 9 onto the 1st intermediate transfer belt, the 2nd intermediate transfer belt 23, a transfer roller 23a for transferring the toner image on the 1st intermediate transfer belt to the surface of the transfer material carried by the 2nd intermediate transfer belt or onto the 2nd intermediate transfer belt, and a transfer charger 23e for transferring the toner image on the 2nd intermediate transfer belt to the rear side of the transfer paper carried by the 2nd intermediate transfer belt. In this case, among a plurality of rollers for stretching the 2nd intermediate transfer belt 23 so as to form the transfer material carrying path, a roller 23b positioned on the downmost-stream side in the transfer material carrying direction is arranged close to a fixing device 28.
