PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup type vending machine capable of surely dissolving raw material in a diluting solution and cleaning an impeller used in cooking in a simple constitution in putting the raw material and diluting solution such as hot water or water in a cup, inserting the impeller of a mixing mechanism therein to thereby mixing the above materials, and lifting the impeller used in mixing the drink to complete preparing of the drink. SOLUTION: This cup type vending machine is provided with a nozzle 71 for supplying a diluting solution to a cup C through a rotating shaft 62, and a control part 100 for rotating the impeller 61. In mixing the raw material supplied to the cup C, simultaneously with the rotation of the impeller 61, the diluting solution is supplied and in the lapse of designated time, the impeller 61 is inserted in the cup C, and in lifting the impeller 61, with the impeller 61 rotated, the diluting solution is supplied to thereby clan the impeller 61 through the rotated rotating shaft 62.
