PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exchange system capable of easily facilitating countermeasures even to the increase request of a line housing capacity while reducing the increase of the costs of this system as much as possible. SOLUTION: An exchange device 3 is connected through a relay bus 2 to a server device 1, and the exchange device 3 is provided with only a plurality of extension interface circuits 31-1 to 31-i, and office trunk circuits 32 and 33, and a relay bus interface 36 for communicating with the server device 1. A time switch function and an exchange control function installed in a general exchange device are substituted with a time switch part 143 and a CPU 144 of an exchange control interface unit 14 installed in the server device 1.
