PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot line alarm device capable of generating an alarm sound at a fixed distance even when approaching it from any direction and improving the reliability by suppressing unevenness due to approach angles for a high voltage hot line. SOLUTION: This hot line alarm device consists of an electromagnetic field detector 1 for detecting an electromagnetic field from the high voltage hot line, a microcomputer 5 in which a detection signal from the electromagnetic field detector 1 is inputted, and an alarm means 7 for transmitting an alarm sound by an alarm command outputted from the microcomputer 5 to control the alarm command in accordance with an electromagnetic field level corresponding to a sensing distance from the high voltage hot line and detected by the electromagnetic field detector 1 and monitoring time by the microcomputer 5.
