PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of obtaining excellent moisture-resistant life even without using a moisture-absorbent material, in the display device causing element deterioration due to moisture. SOLUTION: The display device is provided with an element base plate 1 with a light-emitting element formed, an opposing base plate 7 opposed to the element base plate 1, and a filler material 10 filled in a gap between the element base plate 1 and the opposing base plate 7. The filler material 10 contains denatured silicone oil with a volume resistivity of 1×10<SP>9</SP>Ωcm or more in an atmosphere of 25°C and a relative humidity of 60%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
