HARDWARE PROTECTION KEY AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardware protection key and an information processing system which rapidly perform a processing for the protection against unauthorized use of software.

SOLUTION: The hardware protection key has a first storage part 13a which has stored dongle data for prescribing the use authority of the software; a second storage part 13b which stores a data table for encrypting the dongle data stored in the first storage part 13a; a reception part 11 which receives an encryption key from the outside; an encryption part 12 which reads the dongle data stored in the first storage part 13a to encrypt the data, by referring to the data table stored in the second storage part 13b, on the basis of the encryption key received by the reception part 11; and a transmission part 11 which transmits the dongle data encrypted by the encryption part 12 to the outside.
