PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a sales clerk to prepare a 'poisonous substance and deleterious substance purchase certificate' and to simply output it without requiring special knowledge concerning products corresponding to a poisonous substance and deleterious substance in a store selling products required to prepare the 'poisonous substance and deleterious substance purchase certificate' such as agricultural chemicals. SOLUTION: Concerning this POS system, product sorting information for distinguishing general handling products and products corresponding to a poisonous substance and deleterious substance is set into a product master file 5, and the file 5 is retrieved by keys, i.e., the product code of sales products inputted from inputting devices 1 and 2 where necessary items are accumlated in an internal table 65. At the time of settling by a POS settling processing part 63, whether or not a sales product corresponds to a special poisonous substance, a deleterious substance, a poisonous substance or a paraquate-group poisonous substance is checked by product sorting information accumulated in the table 65, and when it comes under the condition, the 'poisonous substance and deleterious substance purchase certificate' is outputted from a printer 3 by a purchase certificate outputting part 64. |
