PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation and to shorten time required for confirming the contents of an unclear item by discriminating the business store of a transmission origin based on data relating to the business store included in the exchange slip data through a specified key operation and automatically dialing it at the time of confirming the unclear item of the exchange document data as to the business store. SOLUTION: Document data are received from the FAX of a business store (S21), characters of the document data are recognized (S22) and the document data and the recognized result are screen-displayed in a correction WS(work station) (S23). An operator confirms the displayed document data and the confirmed result, and in the case of judging that an unclear item is present (S24), presses the communication key of the correction WS (S25). The business store of a transmission origin is specified by the FAX-ID of the document data and pertinent business store information (telephone number) is referred to from the business store information file 23a of a central controller (S26). The correction WS automatically dials the pertinent business store (S27). |
