SEISMIC RETROFITTING METHOD OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE FIBER REINFORCED CEMENTITIOUS COMPOSITES FOR EXISTING STRUCTURES

A seismic retrofitting method of a structure is provided to secure seismic performance by installing a reinforcement structure on the existing concrete structure and spraying high-performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites on the reinforcement structure. A seismic retrofitting method of a structure using high-performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites comprises the steps of: conducting surface treatment on the existing concrete structure(1); checking whether it is possible to reinforce seismic tolerance with high-performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites only(2); installing a reinforcement structure at need by installing vertical reinforcing bars and horizontal reinforcing bars around the existing concrete column(3); producing high-performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites having the tensile stress of 3~4MPa and the tensile strain of 3~6%(4); spraying the high-performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites to the appointed thickness to make the reinforcement structure buried(5); and finishing up the concrete structure(6).
