PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic hybrid shuttlecock made from two different types of plastics for improving physical properties. SOLUTION: Through the use of the plastic of a first type between two different types of plastics, a stem assembly 1 is formed to have a base 2, to which a cork 12 is attached and from which plural stems 5 extend. The feathers of a shuttlecock are provided by attaching vanes 10 to the respective stems. The vane 10 is formed from the second type plastic. The stem assembly 1 can be produced by injection molding, while the vane 10 can be produced by punching from film materials. The same basic material can be used for both the stem assembly 1 and the vanes 10 and in this case, various physical properties are achieved by various working methods and/or by reinforcing the stems with fibers. |
