<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenolic resin foam having fine and uniform bubble structure and low heat conductivity with saving cost by using a phenolic resin foam which is a waste material, or an inexpensive filler or thickener. <P>SOLUTION: The phenolic resin foam is produced by mixing a foamable phenolic resin composition comprising the phenolic resin, a surfactant, a foaming agent containing a hydrocarbon or hydrocarbons, an acid curing catalyst and a powdery material having 0.1-100μm in 0.01-35 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. phenolic resin using a mixer, discharging the mixed composition from a distribution unit, subsequently forming the foamable phenolic resin, which has been adjusted in advance to have 50-30,000 mPa s viscosity at 40°C, in a tabular form by pressurizing from above and blow directions, foaming and subsequently hardening the composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
