FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: to increase strength of unit and improve manufacturability by simplifying assembling, fixing sleeve is introduced into driving gear unit. Fixing sleeve has inner space with one cylindrical surface with thrust shoulder for installing outer race of rear bearing, and with other cylindrical surface for mounting front cover. Outer cylindrical surface of fixing sleeve has two belts for fitting the sleeve inside housing. EFFECT: increased strength of unit, provision of reliable fastening of covers of front and rear bearing units. 2 cl, 1 dwg
