FIELD: television engineering; television servosystems for determining coordinates of small-size objects. SUBSTANCE: discriminator has analog-to-digital converter 1, coincidence gate 2, write pulse shaper 3, multiplier 4, reference-signal generator 5, multiplier 6, storage capacitors 7, 8, 9, dividers 10, 11, code converters 12, 13, and registers 14, 15. Coordinate deviation X along X axis is determined by means of multiplier 4, storage capacitors 7, 8, divider 10, and code converter 12. Coordinate deviation is measured by means of multiplier 6, storage capacitors 8, 9, divider 11, and code converter 13. Joint operation of code converters 12, 13 and dividers 10, 11 makes discriminator amplitude-independent. Characteristic of type of conversion afforded by each of code converters is given in description of invention. EFFECT: reduced coordinate measurement error under noise conditions. 2 cl, 7 dwg
