The invention relates to airplanes lighter than air. The inventive airship comprises a gastight envelope and a longitudinal gastight deformable partition which is arranged inside the envelope and forms a main upper chamber filled with a lifting gas and an additional lower chamber filled with air. The airship is provided in the tail part with a rigid base which is used for attaching the envelope and diving and vertical rudders, and comprises, inserter therein, a lifting gas filling valve and a lifting gas emergency releasing valve skids for fastening and displacing pilot cabin and a device which is used for modifying pressure in the additional chamber and comprises a compressor and valves for modifying pressure in the additional chamber. The airship propelling unit comprises an internal combustion engine with airship propelling airscrews.
