A casing (1) for a rotating machine (10) includes: - an inner surface (S) delimiting an inner volume (V) for housing a rotor of said rotating machine (10); - a first and a second shell (11, 12) that are joined together in a dividable manner, said first and second shell (11, 12) respectively comprising a first and a second split flange (13, 14) having a first and a second split surface (13a, 14a) contacting each other when said shells (11, 12) are joined together; - a plurality of holes (17) on said first and second split flange (13, 14) passing though said first and second split surface (13a, 14a) for housing a plurality of bolts; - a first groove (21) connecting said plurality of holes; - a second groove (22) between said first groove (21) and said inner surface (S) of said casing (1); - a first duct (23) and a second duct (24) for circulating a fluid to and from said first and second grooves (21, 22), respectively. |
