Provided is a rotating-type compressor capable of maintaining the overall dynamic balance and keeping vibration and noise levels low even when operated at high-speeds, and allowing improved efficiency by having an open channel connecting working chambers, which are provided in the interior of each of a plurality of cylinders to compress the coolant, in open communication with each other. The rotating-type compressor comprises: a housing; a driving motor provided in the interior of the housing to generate driving power and comprising a stator and a rotor; and a compression unit for compressing the coolant by receiving driving power from the driving motor, and comprising a plurality of cylinders, each of which is provided with a working chamber in the interior thereof for compressing the coolant, wherein the working chambers provided in each of the plurality of cylinders are provided with mutually differing capacities, and a balancer for maintaining the dynamic balance is provided below the rotor only. |
