PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the failure accurately to carry out a fail-safe control efficiently and rationally as measures against a failure occurrence, in an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: When it is detected that the gear ratio the same as a speed change order is not realized, a control unit 300 for specifying which solenoid valves 111, 112, 121-123 develop what mode of the failure is provided. The unit 300 confirms the failure in each of continuous plural operation terms that the same solenoid valves develop the same mode of failure. The confirmed accuracy of the failure is guaranteed and the fail-safe control as the measures against the failure can be carried out without mistake adequately and rationally. |
