1. A fuel monitoring and anti-theft device for use with a fuel tank, the device comprising:
a housing having a first section and a second section; the first section containing a fuel load monitoring assembly; the second section containing a data transmission assembly; wherein the fuel load monitoring assembly is operatively connected to the data transmission assembly to gather and provide data concerning fuel load and usage to a remote receiver to prevent fuel theft.
