PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine for reducing a myocardial infarct area which is used in the early stages of myocardial infarct after onset and contains donepezil, cholinesterase inhibitor, or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient so that the medicine is given to a subject in the early stages of myocardial infarct after onset in combination with reperfusion therapy to activate the vagus nerve, to improve the heart's function, to prevent remodeling of the heart, and to reduce a myocardial infarct area.SOLUTION: A medicine for reducing a myocardial infarct area is used in the early stages of myocardial infarct after onset and contains donepezil or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
