PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MR device having means to automatically find an optimum value of the number of echo trains.SOLUTION: An MR device executes a sequence for acquiring an echo train from a subject. The MR device includes upper limit determination means for determining an upper limit etl_max of the number of echo trains based on an echo space ESP and value X1 and value X2 including an upper limit TEz_max of a maximum echo time. The MR device further includes means for finding the number of echo trains based on the upper limit etl_max of the number of echo trains and the number of views ypoint in which data collection is carried out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
