PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable emergency shutdown system at a low cost.SOLUTION: A service robot 10 comprises a high-order unit 11 and a low-order unit 12 connected with each other via a standard USB cable 13. The low-order unit 12 comprises an MPU 16 that controls, by USB communication via the USB cable 13, driving of a drive part 31 that has received a speed instruction from the high-order unit 11. In a case of emergency stop of the low-order unit 12, an emergency stop part 24 of the high-order unit 11 stops a power output of a USB port 14 to which the USB cable 13 is connected. When the low-order unit 12 detects that no power source is output from a power source line 13a of the USB cable 13, a drive power source shutdown part 32 of the low-order unit 12 cuts off supply of a drive power source to the drive part 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
