PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic shift control method for a gear type transmission, which can complete shifting with light operating force in a short time. SOLUTION: Interlocking by means of accelerator pedal operations is temporarily release, engine torque is reduced by means of a throttle actuator kept under the control of an electronic control device, a clutch is cut off by a clutch actuator, a shift gear at the present step of shifting is released in engagement by a select shift actuator so as to be positioned in a neutral position, the connection of the clutch is made by the clutch actuator, and engine revolutions are increased/decreased simultaneously by the throttle actuator, the number of revolutions of an input shaft interlocked with an engine is adjusted in such a way as to be in an allowable range of the target synchronized number of revolutions, the clutch is cut off by the clutch actuator, the shift gear is shifted to the target step of shifting so as to be fastened by the select shift actuator, the clutch is thrown in by the clutch actuator, simultaneously, control by means of an electronic control device is released, and throttle opening is so controlled as to be operated by a throttle actuator interlocked with the pedal operation of an accelerator. |
