<p>A fluid medium filter comprising a shell-shaped inlet housing portion and a shell-shaped outlet housing portion. A filter is dismountably inserted between the two portions and supported on two plates, each supporting plate being supported in the interior of a respective housing portion and defining a cavity for receiving a part of the filter. Two nipples extend from the filter insert, one of the nipples passing through one supporting plate into the inlet end and the other nipple passing through the other supporting plate into the outlet end, the inlet and outlet ends defining limited spaces for receiving the respective nipples. Fluid-tight seals in the limited spaces seal the inlet and outlet ends.</p> |
