<p>In a disintegrator for packaging material made from fusible foam material and surplus after uses as, e.g. a shock-absorbent packing element used in a carbon, comprising a housing with a feed inlet in its upper zone and a discharge outlet for the disintegrated material at a lower level, at least one grid construction of heating wires in which the feed material comes to rest, is provided in the zone between the inlet and the outlet. Pref. the hot wire grid (assembly) can discharge the product to a known type of mechanical cutter and/or disintegrator downstream. Material easily penetrates the appts. and little dust and fumes are produced.</p> |
