Pure water from water contg. foreign matter - controlled vapourisation and condensation, hot water stored in adiabatic vessel

Pure water is obtd from water contg. foreign matter by means of controlled vapourisation and condensation by feeding the raw water heated to 60 to 80 degrees C into an as adiabatic as possible reservoir, where it is stored. After a sufficient fall in temp. between the stored hot water and the condensation surfaces of the installation, the hot water is transfer ed to the chamber serving both as vapouriser and condenser in which the hot water flows as a turbulent film, across the vaporising surface. Alternatively, the hot water may be sprayed in such a way that it does not contact the condensation surfaces directly. An uncomplicated apparatus requiring much less energy.
