<p>The contact springs are protected by a cover. A lever transmits the movement of telephone instrument push-buttons to the contact springs, and via a lever a compression spring. The contact springs (2, 3) in the switch case (1) are mounted in segments, determining the position of contacts and the pressure before contact operation. The switch lever (6) is supported on knife-edges (7) in the switch case (1), while the compression spring (8) is hinged by its one end on the switch lever (6) through a spring connector (9). Its other end rests on a projection in a seat (10) above the switch case (6). Except for the springs, all switch components are made of plastics.</p> |
