PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save space of a device for gripping an object of continuous length for gripping and fixing a termination part or an object of continuous length, such as a cable. SOLUTION: A device consists of a first rail 1 that is fixed to a suspended body or a wall body and is extended in a horizontal direction, a second rail 2 with an A suspension part 2b that is detachably suspended on the first rail 1 and a rail part 2a, that extends in a vertical direction as well as a horizontal direction with respect to the first rail, and a gripping member 3 with a B suspension part 3a that is detachably suspended on the rail part 2a of the second rail and a gripping tool 3b on the side surface. A gripping member 3 is able to grip and fix an object of continuous length by the gripping tool 3b with the longitudinal direction of the object of continuous length as the vertical direction and to travel while being slid along the rail part 2a of the second rail 2, and the second rail 2 is able to travel while being slid along the first rail 1. |
