<p>The simplified sound cine editing process uses special markings applied to the start of each scene before editing. The selected sequence of scenes is t hen pr ogrammed into the control and the film passed through the equipment. The sound tracks are taken off the original in the new selected sequence, with automatic forward and reverse drive between scenes. The new sound track is then applied to the edited film after cutting. The new edited film has signals between the new scenes so that the sound track can be accurately married to the film. This is either by re-recording on the sound track or by linking the film to a tape recorder with the edited sound track.</p> |
