PURPOSE:To enable a logic unit which detects an error occurring in input-output process to prevent an error occurring in one input-output device from causing a system to run down by obtaining an execution level channel number at the time of the occurrence of the error. CONSTITUTION:Until an error occurring in a unit is detected, register groups 11... 17 hold information needed to know which of input-output units 1...3 has the error occurring in input-output process, i.e., the execution level and channel number. When FF's 18-20 detect the error, it is judged, as to a register where the needed information is held, which of processes of input-output units an error detected after the point in time of the occurrence occurs in. Consequently, it is made possible to prevent the error of one of units 1...3 from causing the system to run down. |
