PURPOSE:To increase the capacity and life of storage battery without increasing floor space for installation by combining a longitudinally formed group storage battery and a transversely widened group storage battery into unit group storage battery. CONSTITUTION:The height of the single cell 2A is lengthened longitudinally and the width of the single cell 2B is widened in order to increase the area of the plate group or the number of the plates. And, both the single cell 2A and the single cell 2B, the capacity and life of which are increased, are packed together in one housing box 3 whose floor space, or width, is indentical to that of conventional housing boxes. |
