PURPOSE:To facilitate multicolor printing by constituting a device so that differently-colored liquid drips in plural concentrate at the same point within a horizontal surface in a printer wherein the printing is performed by producing an air bubble with an impressed thermal energy and making liquid drips fly. CONSTITUTION:Various colors of ink are stored in ink tanks ITC, ITM and ITY and supplied to an ink pool ND through pipes IPC, IPM and IPY. On a substrate plate SS1 are provided heating elements HC, HM and HY as well as lead electrodes lPC, lDC, lPM, lPY and lDY, all of which are provided for each color, and each electrode and heating element is arranged in such a manner as the liquid drip of each coror is concentrated on one point of the recording paper PP, thereby discharged ink drips of various colors being focused on one place on the recording paper. Multicolor printing is also obtained by converging ink grooves NC, NM and NY at an orifice part to form one orifice. |
