PURPOSE:To prevent fading during conservation by containing an imidazole compound in a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:The 1-20wt% imidazole derivative as a monomer, which is a solid at the normal temperature and is not colored strongly under a powdered condition, is cmpounded in the recording layer of the thermosensitive recording sheet consisting of a colorless or light-colored color forming substance such as a triphenyl methance group one, which forms a color when it is reacted with a phenol compound at the time of heating, a phenolic substance color-forming said color forming substance when heated, and a water-soluble high molecular adhesive such as polyvinyl alcohol and methyl cellulose. A substance having the 70-300 deg.C melting point such as 2-methyl imidazole on 2-ethyl-4-methyl imidazole is used as the imidazole derivative. The recording sheet obtained is excellent in conservation stability for a long term while other characteristics are not lowered at all. |
