摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an optical system for a high speed printer utilizing an optical shutter array by providing a reflecting mirror having a sectional shape enclosing part of plane assuming right angle to the pipe axial direction of a linear light source. CONSTITUTION:The light out from an optical shutter array 3 goes through a distributed index lens array 4 and arrives by a photosensitive drum 5, by which the erecting unmagnified image of the array 3 is projected onto the surface of the drum 5. Here, the section of a reflecting mirror 2 is an elliptical shape, and a linear light source 1 is located at the focus near the reflecting mirror side of said mirror 2. Since the array 3 is installed in the another focal position of the mirror 2, all the light reflected by the mirror 2 is condensed at the array 3.
