To evaluate information items stored in digital archives, the search for the stored information items is usually conducted by means of a comparator circuit to which digital recognition signals are to be applied, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, the digital data archive is to be connected. It is then the object of the invention to specify a replacement for the usual comparator circuits which, above all, provides the possibility of an accelerated sequence of the search process compared with the previously known possibilities. For this purpose, it is proposed that each cell of the matrix store (DKS) forming the digital archive is in each case combined with one circuit section (T9, T10, T7, T8) forming one comparator cell. It is also proposed that in this arrangement, the signal outputs (KA) of the comparator cells of the individual matrix rows (ZI) are in each case connected to a common signal output (KZi) in each case allocated to the relevant matrix row. <IMAGE> |
