PURPOSE:To make usable an antenna under the atmosphere of temperature change without losing the function, by arranging molten silica porous sintered plate on a surface directed with a microwave antenna. CONSTITUTION:Microwaves pass through a waveguide 2, are radiated to a parabola 1 from a primary radiator 3, become a plane wave and are radiated through a protective plate. A case 6 is of water cooling construction. The plate 5 must have the heat resistance of itself, protect the antenna 5 and pass through microwaves with low loss. As the protective plate 5, molten silica is used and porous sintered plate having air holes at the inside is used to increase the protective capability from heat. |
