PURPOSE:To obtain stable test video signals at all times, by reading out a test video signal as required through storing it in a memory. CONSTITUTION:In making diagnosis, a diagnostic program of a central processing section 1 is started at first. Next, the input of a test video signal from a test device 14 to a reception section 2 is instructed by a central processing section 1. The maintenance personnel inputs the test video signal stored in a memory of the device 14 according to said instruction. Normal data when the test video signal is normally received, coded and stored, and data relating to each device are stored in advance in the central processing section 1. The central processing section 1 collates the inputted test video signal with the normal data to detect a failure in the device. |
