PURPOSE:To keep a video output almost constant even if a sub-scanning speed changes, by controlling amount of light inputted to a photoelectric converter through an optical attenuator. CONSTITUTION:A light from a light source 11 is reflected on an original 6 and reaches a photoelectric conversion section 5 through an optical attenuator 4. When a sub-scanning speed changes, this information is transmitted to a control section 3 with a control signal. The control section 3 outputs a control signal 7 with this control signal to the section 4 to control the attenuation of the section 4. A transmission timing of a video signal from the control section 3 is transmitted to said section 5 and a storage section 12 with a video signal transfer clock 8, and the video signal from said section 5 is transferred and stored to the storage section 12. |
