PURPOSE:To produce tasty water with less electric power consumption by cooling pure water which is obtd. by heating and evaporating the water by using a refrigerant cycle and further liquefying the same. CONSTITUTION:The feed water stored in a feed water tank 1 is evaporated by an evaporating part 7 of the refrigerant cycle. The steam evaporated by a piping part 5 connected to the evaporating part 7 is radiated in a radiating part 6. The pure water liquefied by the radiating part 6 is accepted in a subsequent water storage tank 2 and the pure water stored in the water storage tank is maintained at a specified temp. in a cold retaining part 8. As a result, the mold smell and impurities in the feed water are mostly removed with the smaller electric power consumption and the fresh water is maintained cold. During of tasty water is thus made possible.
