The invention relates to a device for connecting corrugated pipes together or for blocking an opening in such a pipe. The device comprises three corrugated shell elements 16, 17, 18, the extension of which in the axial direction is preferably twice one corrugation, and each of which forms a circular arc of approximately 180 DEG . These shell elements may be obtained by cutting out a section from the tube itself. They are placed offset by 120 DEG with respect to one another, by pressing them into the corrugations of the underlying tube or tubes and/or of the underlying shell element.
