PURPOSE:To make flexiblity in the widthwise direction stronger and improve the grinding effect of the tool by flatening the filament of synthetic resin, mixed with abrasive grains, into a rectangle. CONSTITUTION:The filaments 3, having flat rectangle in the section thereof, are arrayed and secured to a pinching metal 5, having an U-shaped section, by being pinched, thereafter, the pinching metal 5 is wound around and secured to a rotary body 6. When the pinching metal 5 is wound around and fixed to the peripheral surface of the rotary body 6 having a necessary size, the rotary body 6 is surrounded by a multitude of rectangular filaments 3, 3,... extending radially from the rotary body 6. When a torque is given to the rotary body 6, the circumferential surface 60, formed by the group 3 of the rectangular filaments, and the side surface 61 of the group 3 exhibit the grinding effect. |
