PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy by simple constitution, by constituting an exciting side filter of two kinds of ones different in a wavelength and mounting both filters to a support plate to perform the chopping of exciting light. CONSTITUTION:Filters F1, F2 are mounted to both end parts of a support plate 5 which is reciprocatingly movable in the direction right-angled to exciting light EX. Therefore, the filters F1, F2 alternately enter luminous flux to generate monochromatic exciting lights corresponding to the respective transmission wavelengths of said filters. The space between both filters F1, F2 is a part of the plate 5 and exciting lights are blocked when said part enters the luminous flux. The reciprocating movement of the plate 5 is performed by utilizing the rotation of a motor 7. That is, a disc 8 is fixed to the shaft of the motor 7 and a crank lever 6 is mounted between a pin 9 and one end of the plate 5. When the disc 8 and the pin 9 are rotated with the rotation of the motor 7, the plate 5 is pulled or pushed through the lever 6 and a guide corresponding to the position of the pin 9 and moves along a linear route cyclically and reciprocatingly as shown by an arrow.
